Halloween Festivities

We kept busy during the month of October, too many fun things to do.

We visted the Witches at Gardner Village

Anna had her halloween party at school.

We went to Cornbellies down at Thanksgiving Point with some friends.

We trick-or-treated with about 11 kids from the neighborhood, this is Anna with Annie.

Salt Air

We tagged along with our friend Lindsey out to Salt Air. Finally Anna was cooperating and let her take some pictures. I am really happy with how they turned out, now I just have to narrow it down and get some printed.

Tea Time

While the boys were down in St. George we were invited to a fabulous Tea Party at Aunt Kristen's . We wore our finest attire and enjoyed several different types of tea. We ate ribbon sandwiches and other tea party foods. We had a really good time.

Duck Creek Family Reunion

Over Labor Day weekend we headed down to Duck Creek, which is in the mountains above Cedar City, for a Romero Family Reunion. We rented a cabin that sleeps 16 and there were 26 of us (including babies). We had tons of fun just eating, playing games, and just hanging out relaxing! Thanks to my Aunt Leona who planned the whole thing! She even made a "Romero Family Reunion" banner for the front of the cabin!

Shaun and my brother-in-law Kyle headed up to Brianhead to do a little downhill biking. Kyle endoed and hurt his hip so he was done after one run. Some of us headed up to Brianhead later just to hang out and hike around.

My brother Patrick was the only one not there out of our whole extended family. He is on his mission in Costa Rica. We didn't want him to miss the family pics so Whitney went and got a cardboard cutout of him. His head ended up being a little smaller than life size but oh well, it was fun having him there anyway!

We played a mean game of horseshoes, the winners won $44 to split. Darren and I took the whole thing. I even had a couple of ringers, I've never even played horseshoes before, but now am a champ!

This is the second year that we have gone with Shaun's parent's ward on their Park City bike ride. We had such a great time last year we tagged along again this year.

Anna loves riding the bike with Shaun, he makes things so much more fun.

This year a few more family members joined us on our ride.

1st Day of School

Anna started pre-school this fall. I can't believe she is old enough to go to school, crazy how time flies. We are both so excited for her to start this new adventure. She goes Tuesday and Thursday for 2 hours. 2 hours that I can do whatever I want :)

This is her class and her teacher Miss Kathy, her other teacher is Miss Connie. While she was sitting in the circle she looked up and saw me watching her through the window, I blew her a kiss, she blew one back and waved goodbye. She felt comfortable and excited to be there.

Anna's first piece of schoolwork

She loves going to school and being with her friends. This month they are learning about bears, the letter A, the color brown and a few other things. She is all smiles going to school and has a great time while she is there. She loves to tell people that she is in pre-school.

Our own parade

Our neighbor across the street is a Fireman and was scheduled to drive this sweet fire truck in a parade. After the parade he gave us a call to let us know he had brought it home to show Anna. He was nice enough to give us a ride around the block. We felt like we were in our own little parade, Anna was able to ring the bell and push the siren. Too bad no one was out to watch our parade, it was okay because we still had fun!!
