Whistler 2010

Shaun went to Whistler, Canada with some of his biker buddies. I'm not sure on all the details but he had a great time!

Cousin Ezra

4th of July

For the 4th of July we stuck with the same ole tradition, the Granite Parade then swimming. This year Anna sat on the float with Grandpa Moyes and the Moyes cousins. She loves being in the parade and throwing out candy.

Going down the slide was also a first for her this time.

Meet Aurora

I'm just documenting the fact that I have let my child have a pet. We own a goldfish named Louie, or as Anna calls him...Bubbly. No pictures of the fish.

Also, I caved when all the neighbor kids came home from Thanksgiving Point with a chicken. I strongly disagreed, but once I talked to my sister-in-law, who has lots of chickens already said she would take it once it got bigger and the novelty of the whole thing went away, I let Anna have one too. The neighbor's chickens died within a few days. Aurora is getting big and now living on the farm.



Anna was so excited to have a chicken, I caught her whispering to herself, "I just can't believe it, I have a real chicken."
She was really cute and I did become a little attatched to her. We would take her outside and go on walks with her. She would follow us around the block, never wandering away or straying off. If I put my hand down, she would jump in and just stay close. It was kind of fun!
I'm still not giving into getting a dog!!

Illusionicity

One more day til the magic show. We are very excited. It will be one of the most fun events of the summer. Today Fox 13 did a few segments on Illusionicity with Big Budah.

Lot's of tickets have been sold, but there are good still seats available!!

Foreigner, Stix & Kansas

For Shaun's birthday I gave him tickets to Foreigner, Stix & Kansas. We had never been to a concert togehter. We went with Kyle, Whitney and Patrick. We all wore rock band shirts and bandanas so we would fit in. But we were the only ones that fit in and dressed up. Which made it even more fun. The guys wore wigs. Shauns wig was the best! People kept asking if they could touch it and would take pictures of him.

Pre-School Graduate

Anna finished her first year of pre-school.

She loved it and so did I!

She wanted to do a photoshoot so she was posing all over the place, this one turned out the best!

All Girl

Since Anna was a week old we have painted her nails. She LoVeS it!! They always have to be a shade of pink, nothing else will do. She saw that I had gone with some girls to get a pedicure and was heartbroken that I didn't take her with me at that time. I told her that I'd take her another time. We went with her friend Leila and the girls had a great time together. It was only $5, but then she wanted her toes done, another $5. Of course she needed polka dots $5, then what about a tip. $17 dollars later I had one happy girl with polka dot nails!
